  • The Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan was summoned to the Foreign Office (FO) on Tuesday, for conveying Pakistan's concerns over the reported absurd remarks of Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff regarding cross border actions; an official statement said.

Op RuF in FATA, SWA, Punjab recovers banned weaponry



  • Operation (Op) Radd-ul-Fasaad (RuF), military Op against terrorism, on Tuesday recovered suicide jackets, explosive cylinder, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), anti tank mines and detonators, through intelligence based operations (IBOs) conducted in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA); an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said.

  • Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang on Tuesday said, "The construction of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is making steady progress and has entered a stage of comprehensive implementation" asserting "Both sides have planned 17 priority projects in the field of energy, 11 of which have started construction."
