Uzair Baloch in military custody on espionage charges: ISPR



  • Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a ticker statement on Monday, disclosed that Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) mobster Uzair Jan Baloch, son of Faiz Mohammad Baloch, was taken into military custody on charges of 'espionage'.

US NSA assures PM of commitment to strengthen bilateral relations



  • United States (US) National Security Advisor (NSA) Lieutenant General Herbert Raymond McMaster, along-with his delegation, called on Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Monday, whereat US NSA McMaster conveyed the greetings of US President Donald Trump and assured that the new Administration is committed to strengthen bilateral relations and is ready to work with Pakistan, to achieve peace and stability in Afghanistan and in the wider South Asian region.

  • United States (US) acting special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Laurel Miller, along-with her delegation, called on Finance Minister, Senator, Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday, whereat she hoped the current visit by US National Security Adviser and Dar's forthcoming visit to US will contribute to firming up Pakistan-US ties and set the tone for their future bilateral cooperation; an official statement said.

15 major operations, 4,535 IBOs kills 108 terrorists: ISPR



  • Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a statement on Monday, disclosed that the law enforcement agencies (LEAs), as per countrywide operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, executed two major operations in Punjab, along-with 2,692 intelligence based operations (IBOs), killing 17 terrorists, one major operation in Sind, along-with 335 IBOs, killing 8 terrorists, four major operations in Balochistan, along-with 261 IBOs, killing 10 terrorists, 8 major operations in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA)/Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), along-with 1,247 IBOs, killing 73 terrorists whereas 553 terrorists countrywide surrendered.

Forces' brutality injures over 100 students, including females, in IOK



  • In Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), over 100 male and female students were critically injured along-with a journalist, on Monday, as Indian forces launched a brutal attack on thousands of students, including female students, who took to streets in protest outside almost all educational institutions across the occupied territory; Kashmir Media Service (KMS) reported.

Asad Umar whips incumbent on faking restoring electricity promises



  • Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar, in a statement, on Monday whipped the incumbent regime for having faked the promises of restoring electricity, by the time their tenure is over, and said, "Billions have been frittered away on advertisements of power projects in four years" lashing "The consequence of these advertisements is the expansion of the electricity shortfall from 3,000 megawatts (MWs) to 7,000 MWs."
