Afghanistan obstructing census resorts to unprovoked cross border firing

  • Untamed neighbour, of which significant territory is under Taliban control, on Friday opened unprovoked fire upon Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers, as they provided security to population census team, martyring 10 individuals including women, children and an FC soldier and injuring over 40 including four FC soldiers.

People, students hold pro-Pakistan demonstrations in IOK

  • In Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), people including students staged massive pro-Pakistan and anti-India demonstrations, on Friday, while Indian police and troops used brute force against the protesters, injuring many of them; Kashmir Media Service (KMS) reported.

Pakistan condoles Iranian coal mine explosion

  • Foreign Ministry, in a statement, on Friday condoled, "The Government and people of Pakistan offer deepest condolences to the Government and people of Iran at the tragic loss of lives in Zemestanyurt coal mines explosion in northeastern province of Golestan" adding "We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims. We also pray for the safe recovery of miners still trapped in the mines."

Pyongyang reveals US attempts of infiltrating DPRK

  • Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea (DPRK/North Korea) State Security Ministry, in a statement, on Friday warned, "The last-ditch effort of the hostile forces, taken aback by the strong spirit of the DPRK dashing toward the final victory of the cause of Juche (self-reliance) revolution, has gone beyond the limits after reaching the extreme phase."
