Pakistan commemorates UN International Day of Migration

ISLAMABAD:
Acknowledging their role, some 244 million persons globally were estimated by the United Nations (UN) in January 2016 as being the “international migrants” that form 3.3 percent of world’s population, contributions of migrant workers in the development process of their Countries of Origin (CoOs) and Countries of Destinations (CoDs) are enormous, the UN commemorates International Day of Migration (IDoM) on December 22.
