US eyes antiquities black marketed by ISIS

Geng: South China Sea Islands are “China’s inherent territory”

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Geng Shuang addressing a regular press conference on Thursday held, “I need to reiterate that islands in the South China Sea are China’s inherent territory” adding “It’s completely normal for us to build facilities and deploy necessary defence equipment there, a right of a sovereign state recognised by international law.”

White House comments on Iran Sanctions Extension Act

Commenting on Iran Sanctions Extension Act (H.R. 6297) White House Press Secretary on Thursday held, “The Administration has, and continues to use, all of the necessary authorities to waive the relevant sanctions, to enforce those that are outside the scope of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and to reimpose sanctions if necessary in the event that Iran should fail to perform its commitments under the JCPOA.”
