Two BSF soldiers killed in IOK

SRINAGAR (India): In Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK), two Indian paramilitary troops were killed in an audacious attack in Ganderbal district, Wednesday.

According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the attackers fired indiscriminately at a party of 37 battalion of border security force (BSF) near Pandach area in the district Wednesday evening, resulting in injuries to two troops.

The injured troops were rushed to Soura institute of medical sciences (SIMS) where the both were declared as brought dead on arrival by the doctors who attended them.

Separately, Indian police, Wednesday, during continued cordon and search operations (CASOs) arrested dozens of youth in different areas of the occupied territory.

The police arrested 27 persons and seized around 30 vehicles including tractors and cars from several areas of Shopian district.

The police during house raids arrested two youth in Baramulla and Kupwara areas.

India’s national investigation agency (NIA) arrested a youth, Rustam Ali, at Hanjala in Kishtwar district.

Meanwhile, Indian troops during military siege and coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown continued their CASOs in Srinagar, Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipore, Ganderbal, Badgam, Islamabad, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, Ramban, Kishtwar, Doda, Rajouri, Poonch, Samba, Kathua and other areas, adding to the miseries of the people across the occupied territory.
