Navy reaffirms support to Kashmiris

Friday – April 2, 2021According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, the conference was chaired by the chief of the naval staff (CNS) admiral (ADM) Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, in the federal capital.
PN-CSC reviewed matters related to geo strategic milieu, national security, operational preparedness, training and welfare of troops.
Briefings on various ongoing and future developmental projects of PN were also given to CNS ADM Niazi.
The naval chief expressed confidence over operational preparedness of PN to meet all challenges.
The forum also discussed COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation and reaffirmed implementation of government policies to restrict countrywide spread of the pandemic.
The conference was held following effective COVID-19 preventive standard operating procedures (SOPs).
PN-CSC is the apex decision making body of PN in which CNS along with principal staff officers and field commanders undertake strategic review of PN’s policies and plans as well as the prevailing security environment.
