Op RuF in Mandi Bahauddin leads to suspected terrorist facilitators

RAWALPINDI: Punjab Pakistan rangers along-with police counter terrorism department (CTD) and intelligence agencies, as per countrywide military operation Radd-ul-Fasaad (Op RuF) carried out a joint search operation in riverine areas of Mandi Bahauddin on Thursday; an Inter services public relations (ISPR) statement said.

During the operation, five suspected facilitators of terrorist activities were apprehended.  Illegal automatic weapons and ammunition were also recovered.

Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) frontier corps (FC), as per Op RuF, recovered a large quantity of weapons and ammunition, last night, from Akka Khel, Guli Khel and Ghaibi Nokia areas of Khyber agency during an intelligence based operation (IBO).

The recoveries include sub machine guns (SMGs), prepared improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and fuses.
