Mamnoon appreciates King Salman on facilitating pilgrims

MAKKAH (Saudi Arabia): President Mamnoon Hussain met Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, custodian of the two holy mosques, at Safa palace in Makkah on Sunday, whereat President Mamnoon appreciated the generosity of Saudi King towards Muslims visiting the two holy mosques and on Saudi King’s efforts for providing more better facilities to Umrah and Hajj pilgrims; an official statement said.

Saudi King Salman had invited President Mamnoon, along with his delegation, to iftari at his palace. Both the leaders remained together for some time and discussed matters of mutual and bilateral interest.

President Mamnoon said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy fraternal relations and that all Pakistanis have a special place for Saudi Arabia in their hearts.

The statement concluded, “Later the President along-with his delegation left for Pakistan through a commercial flight.”

Mamnoon was seen off by Jeddah governor Prince Mashal bin Majid bin Abdul Aziz, Jeddah mayor Hani bin Mohammad Abu Raes and other Saudi officials at the King Abdul Aziz airport.
