Turkish FM Çavuşoğlu offers condolence in Kuwait

ANKARA (Turkey): The Turkish foreign minister (FM) Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Kuwait, Thursday, to extend condolences on behalf of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish nation to the new Kuwaiti emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and to the friendly and brotherly Kuwaiti people, and wished Allah’s mercy upon the late emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah.

According to an official statement, on the same day, Turkish FM Çavuşoğlu also extended Turkish condolences to Kuwaiti FM Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, and stated that Turkey will further develop cooperation in every field with friendly and brotherly Kuwait during new emir Sheikh Nawaf’s term as well.

Separately, back in Pakistan, the chief of army staff (COAS) general Qamar Javed Bajwa, Wednesday, expressed heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Kuwaiti emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, “May Allah the almighty bless his soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Aameen,” COAS general Bajwa said.
