Russia begins preparing for int’l army games 2021

MOSCOW (Russia): Russian servicemen of the Southern Military District (SMD) began preparing for the international army games 2021 tank biathlon competition, Thursday, the servicemen who shall demonstrate the best results will represent the SMD at the all-army stage of the tank biathlon competition, which will be held from May 15 to 30 this year in the Chelyabinsk region.

According to a press release, the servicemen of the motorised rifle division of the SMD have begun stage-by-stage preparation for the games 2021 tank biathlon competition.

The target environment and firing lines were specially prepared at the Tarskoe training ground for tank shooting, and a field camp was created to accommodate servicemen.

The crew training is carried out as part of the planned combat training of tank units.

At present, military personnel are conducting practical training in driving equipment with overcoming obstacles in the form of craters, trenches, ditches, track bridges, mine-explosive obstacles on various routes.

After finishing driving training, tank crews will begin to perform firing missions with a regular artillery shell and a large-caliber machine gun at emerging and moving targets imitating tanks and low-flying helicopters of a mock enemy.
