

President farewells Belarusian ambassador Ermolovich

Tuesday – December 8, 2020According to a press release, he was talking to outgoing Belarusian ambassador Andrei Ermolovich, who paid a farewell call on him, at Aiwan-e-Sadr, in the federal capital.
President Alvi said Pakistan was keen to promote trade and cultural cooperation with Belarus.
He highlighted Pakistan offering promising opportunities for joint ventures, investment and welcomed Belarusian investment.
The president remarked both the countries have potential of cooperation in areas of culture, tourism, pharmaceuticals and emphasised the need for increasing cooperation for the mutual benefit.
President Alvi expressed hope that the memorandum of understanding (MoU), signed by the two countries on cooperation in field of education, will greatly help in strengthening cultural linkages.
He congratulated outgoing Belarusian ambassador Ermolovich on successful completion of his tenure and hoped he will continue to promote Pakistan-Belarus relations.
