PM appreciates ISI’s preparedness for national security

ISLAMABAD: A comprehensive briefing was given to the national and military leadership on the national security and regional dynamics, on Friday, with focus on current situation in Afghanistan.

According to a press release, the prime minister (PM) Imran Khan along-with key federal ministers, chief ministers of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) visited the inter services intelligence (ISI) secretariat in the federal capital.

The ISI director general (DG) lieutenant general (Lt.Gen.) Faiz Hamid welcomed the dignitaries.

The PM appreciated the diligent efforts of ISI for national security and expressed his satisfaction over professional preparedness.

The chief of army staff (COAS) general (Gen.) Qamar Javed Bajwa, chief of naval staff (CNS) admiral (ADM) Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi and chief of air staff (CAS) air chief marshal (ACM) Zaheer Ahmad Babar were also present.
