PM Khan admires the sacrifices of ISI

ISLAMABAD: The prime minister (PM) Imran Khan visited Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters, Wednesday, whereat a comprehensive briefing was given encompassing complex regional and domestic challenges with a special focus on Pakistan’s efforts for restoration of peace and stability.

According to an official statement, the ISI director general (DG) lieutenant general Faiz Hamid received PM Khan at the ISI headquarters, the PM was accompanied by the chief of army staff (COAS) general Qamar Javed Bajwa.

PM Khan, during the briefing, emphasised that no effort will be spared for national security and sovereignty.

The sacrifices and tireless efforts of the ISI were deeply appreciated by the PM.

The foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and planning, development and special initiatives (PDSI) minister Asad Umar were also present at the meeting along-with the special assistant to PM (SAPM) on national security division and strategic policy planning (SAPM-NSD-SPP) Moeed Yousuf.
