PCSTSI delegation calls on president Alvi

ISLAMABAD: The president Arif Alvi said, Monday, that the incumbent regime is making serious efforts to facilitate and support business community and the industrial sector and reminded that the regime announced historic stimulus package of Rs. 1.2 trillion to provide relief to business community and under-privileged strata of society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

According to a press release, he expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Peshawar chamber of small traders and small industry (PCSTSI), led by PCSTSI president Muhammad Adnan Jalil, which called on him, at the presidential palace, in the federal capital.

Talking to the delegation, president Alvi commended that PCSTSI plays an important role in the prosperity of the country through their business activities.

He reiterated that business-friendly policies led to remarkable improvement in the ease of doing business (EoDB) index ranking.

The delegation apprised president Alvi about their problems. It appreciated the steps taken by the government for providing relief to business community during the pandemic.
