Over 700 safely exits eastern Ghouta

MOSCOW (Russia): Major general Vladimir Zolotuhin, the representative of the Russian centre for reconciliation in Syria, reported more than 700 civilians having safely exited the eastern Ghouta via Muhayam Al-Wafedin checkpoint on Saturday morning.

According to an official statement, the Russian centre for reconciliation has been providing people with hot meals and food sets at the checkpoint.

Since the humanitarian pauses were introduced under the control of the Russian centre for reconciliation, more than 105,000 people have left the eastern Ghouta.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, over 3,000 civilians safely exited the eastern Ghouta through Muhayam al-Wafedin checkpoint.

Civilians are leaving the eastern Ghouta through checkpoints of the humanitarian corridor under the auspices of the Russian centre for reconciliation.

  Moreover, civilians are returning to the liberated Kafr Batna and Saqba settlements in the eastern Ghouta.
