India martyrs two youth in IOK

SRINAGAR (India): In Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK), Indian troops in their fresh act of State terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth in the occupied territory, on Thursday.

According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the troops martyred one youth during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Pampore area of Pulwama district.

The occupation authorities sealed all entry and exit points in the area and suspended internet service in the district.

Another youth was martyred by the troops during a joint operation launched by Indian army, police and central reserve police force (CRPF) in Bandpawa area of Imam Sahib in Shopian district.

The troops also cordoned off Janglatmandi area in Islamabad district and conducted house-to-house searches.

The troops arrested many youth during the operations.

Separately, an officer of Indian paramilitary CRPF committed suicide in Pulwama district.

According to KMS, the CRPF officer identified as assistant sub inspector (ASI) Moti Ram hailing from the 178 battalion ended his life by shooting himself with his service rifle in Awantipora area of the district.

CRPF public relations officer (PRO), Junaid Khan, confirmed the incident saying they were investigating under what circumstances the trooper had killed himself.

This incident raised the number of such deaths among Indian troops and police personnel in occupied Kashmir to 455 since January 2007.
