India martyrs four youngsters in Rajouri

SRINAGAR (India): In Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK), Indian troops in their fresh act of State terrorism have martyred four Kashmiri youth in Rajouri district, on Wednesday, the youth were killed by the troops during a siege and search operation at Ravarian Talla village, in Sunderbani of the district.

According to Kashmir media service (KMS), senior superintendent of police (SSP) Rajouri claimed that the youth were freedom fighters and were killed in a gunfight with Indian troops.

In the meantime, three youth were injured after clashes erupted during a search operation by Indian forces in Pulwama district, Wednesday.

Reports said that youth took to streets and pelted stones on the forces during a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Palpora village of the district.

Meanwhile, complete shutdown was observed in Chadoora area of Budgam district on the first anniversary of three youth killed in firing by Indian troops in the area, last year.

All shops and businesses establishments were shut in Chadoora town while public traffic remained off the roads in major areas like Wathoora, Chadoora and Nagam of the district.

Zahid Rashid Ganai, Amir Fayaz Waza, and Ishaq Ahmed Wani were killed and 35 others injured after the troops opened fire on protesters at Durbug in Chadoora on this day in 2017.

A video of the incident, shared widely on social media websites, showed forces firing directly on the protesters.

Meanwhile, gunshots were heard during a cordon and search-operation in Sunderbani area of Rajouri district, Wednesday. The IOK administration closed all schools in Sunderbani sub division.

Earlier, there were reports of an attack on a central reserve police force (CRPF) camp in Sunderban.
