India martyrs four in Kupwara

SRINAGAR (India): In Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK), Indian troops in their fresh act of State terrorism martyred four Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district, on Tuesday, the troops killed the youth during a siege and search operation in Halmatpora area of the district.

According to Kashmir media service (KMS), an Indian army spokesperson in Srinagar claimed that the four youth were freedom fighters and were killed in a gunfight. When the last report came in the operation was still going on.

According to details, Indian troops had launched a massive cordon and search operation in Kupwara district, the troops cordoned off Halmatpora check area of the district and launched massive searches.

Additional troops, paramilitary and police personnel have been rushed to the area.

Meanwhile, forceful demonstrations erupted near Hangalgund in Kokernag area of Islamabad district, on Tuesday, after a vehicle of Indian central reserve police force (CRPF) hit a private vehicle ferrying school children.

Scores of locals assembled at main road Hangalgund in Kokernag and staged protests against the Indian forces. The protesters demanded stern action against the erring driver of the CRPF vehicle.

The residents of the area told media that a speedy CRPF vehicle hit a private vehicle carrying “school children” resulting in minor injuries of three students.
