India martyrs five youth in Shopian

SRINAGAR (India): In Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK), Indian troops in their fresh act of State terrorism martyred five more Kashmiri youth in Shopian district, on Wednesday.

According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Sugoo Hendhama area of the district.

The operation was going on till last reports came in. Indian police and troops have sealed all entry and exit points of the area.

The occupation authorities have suspended internet service in the district.

This is third violent operation in Shopian since Sunday.

During these operations, the troops have martyred 14 youth and injured dozens others besides destroying several houses.

Separately, in IOK, the body of a missing Indian soldier was recovered from a dam in Baramulla district.

The deceased Indian soldier, Afsar Singh, a resident of the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh, had been missing for the past five days.

His body was recovered from a dam built on a river in Boniar, Uri area of Baramulla, on Wednesday.

Baramulla police confirmed that the body of the soldier was recovered from Boniar dam.
