India is enacting colonial laws in IIOJK: KMS

Tuesday – November 3, 2020
SRINAGAR (India): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government is imposing nowadays colonial laws including land and domicile laws with an aim to change IIOJK demography to affect the united nations (UN) pledged plebiscite in future.

According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), an analytical report released by KMS in Srinagar, on Monday, said that since high-ups in India including the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) backed incumbent ruling dispensation is convinced that the international community could anytime force India to grant the Kashmiris’ right to decide their future through plebiscite under UN resolutions, they are using every brutal tactic to manipulate the supposed plebiscite.

Kashmiri people who are giving sacrifices for right to self-determination as it is the only solution to the Kashmir dispute are facing New Delhi’s wrath for demanding the UN-mandated plebiscite, not election dramas, staged, off and on, by India in the occupied territory to mislead the international community, the report added.

It urged the world community to hold India accountable for defying UN resolutions and violating international obligations on Jammu and Kashmir.

Separately, Hurriyat leaders and organisations while denouncing stepped-up Indian State terrorism paid glowing tributes to the martyred mujhaid commander, Dr Saifullah.

Saifullah was killed by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Rangreth area on the outskirts of Srinagar, on Sunday.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) while paying rich tributes to Saifullah in a statement issued in Srinagar, Monday, said that the Kashmiris were indebted to huge and sacred sacrifices of their beloved and revered martyrs.

The APHC spokesman added that despite limited resources the Kashmiri youth were fighting the war of liberation with a mighty and cunning adversary and were sacrificing their precious lives for the cause of Islam and freedom.

“The real tribute to our brave sons of soil will be our pledge to continue our struggle with utmost honesty and dedication,” the spokesman said and offered deep condolences to the family of Saifullah.

Senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar while paying tributes to Saifullah said that the Indian army had crossed all limits of oppression and that highly educated Kashmiri youth were being forced to take the extreme step to justify their killing.

He condemned the arrest of people who went to the house of the martyr commander to offer condolences and said that Kashmiris were being punished for their deep love of their heroes and freedom.

A delegation led by Hurriyat leader Sopori managed to reach the residence of Saifullah to express solidarity with the bereaved family.

Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC) chairman Shabbir Ahmed Dar said Saifullah was a great son of the soil whose priceless contribution to the freedom movement will never be forgotten.

His absence will be felt in the rank and file of mujahideen and freedom lovers, he added and said, “The greatest tribute to this fearless commander will be to carry forward his mission i.e. complete freedom from India.”

Tehreek-e-Muzahamat (TM) chairman Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui in a statement issued in Srinagar said red hot blood of martyrs will never go in vain.

Reacting to the mass destruction of property, loot and arson in Rengreth, he said it was an act of cowardice and a deliberate move to inflict collective punishment on the freedom-loving people of IIOJK.

In a statement Abdul Samad Inqilabi, chairman, Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi (ITA), said that despite being highly educated, Saifullah took the path of greatness and sacrificed his life for the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from tyrannic Indian rule.

The Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI) in a statement issued in Srinagar, Monday, while paying glowing tributes to mujahid commander, Saifullah, said that the martyrs’ sacrifices were the real assets of the liberation movement, which will be protected at all costs.

It said that the Kashmiris were indebted to the martyrs like Saifullah and his ilk as they instead of choosing luxuries sacrificed their lives for the cause of freedom of their motherland.

The TWI maintained that India could not subdue the indomitable spirit of the Kashmiris and their passion for freedom through its militaristic approach and that the IIOJK people will not relent until they realise their legitimate right to self-determination in accordance with the UN security council (UNSC) resolutions.

Jammu and Kashmir Pariwaan-e-Wilayat (JKPW) said the manner in which Saifullah laid down his life for the Kashmiris’ freedom is admirable. It said that thousands of youth like Saifullah are ready to fight for the right to freedom till the accomplishment of the goal.
