India injures two women, two children across LoC

RAWALPINDI: The Indian army troops, Tuesday, initiated ‘unprovoked’ ceasefire violation (CFV) in Jandrot sector, along the line of control (LoC), targeting the “civilian population”.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, due to Indian troops indiscriminate fire in Dera Sher Khan, Sandhara and Bamroch villages, four innocent civilians including two women and two children got critically injured.

The injured include Ms Nasreen, aged 26 years, hailing from Sandhara village; Ms Rabia, aged 24 years, Momna, aged 7 years, hailing from Dera Sher Khan and Munshi, aged 7 years, hailing from Bamroch.

The injured citizens were evacuated to nearby medical facilities.

The Pakistan army troops responded effectively to Indian posts which initiated the fire.
