Incumbent to hold farmers’ convention on July 1

ISLAMABAD: In a high level meeting, on Tuesday, it was decided to hold a farmers’ convention in the federal capital on July 1.

According to a press release, the national food security and research minister (NFSRM) Syed Fakhr Imam called on prime minister (PM) Imran Khan in the federal capital.

The meeting discussed the record production of all crops this year and strategies for future crops.

PM Khan said that providing relief to the farmers is one of the top priorities of the incumbent regime as well as to bring reforms in the agricultural sector through a comprehensive strategy.
