Increase women ratio in PSEB programmes

ISLAMABAD: The information technology and telecommunications (IT-T) minister Syed Amin Ul Haque directed the management of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Thursday, to increase the ratio of women in all programmes of PSEB.

According to an official statement, IT-T minister Haque was chairing the 44th board of directors (BoD) meeting of PSEB at the committee room of IT-T ministry in the federal capital.

He said that women empowerment is important motto of IT-T ministry.

IT-T minister Haque said transparency in all projects is vital and all decisions should be taken on merit.

He also appreciated the PSEB efforts regarding the increase in IT exports.

The meeting also discussed matters related to PSEB working and IT exports. It approved minutes of the previous BoD meeting.

Earlier, PSEB managing director (MD) Osman Nasir briefed the meeting about the future roadmap of PSEB.

IT-T secretary Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui was also present in the meeting.
