FC apprehends 20 suspected terrorists

RAWALPINDI: Balochistan frontier corps (FC) conducted intelligence based operations (IBOs), on Sunday, in Buleda, Gish Kaur, Tratha and Pishin areas of Balochistan, during operation 20 suspected terrorists were apprehended.

According to an inter services public relations (ISPR) statement, cache of arms and ammunition including rocket propelled grenade (RPG) rockets, sub machine guns, sniper rifle ammunition, laptops, global positioning system (GPS) and communication equipment were recovered.

Meanwhile, Indian army initiated unprovoked firing along the line of control (LoC) in Battal, Hot Spring and Khuiratta sectors targeting the civilian population.

Three innocent citizens including two women Saba Azad, 24 years old and Nagina Aqsad, 36 years old got injured.

Pakistan army troops responded effectively to Indian cease fire violations (CFVs) and targeted those posts which initiated unprovoked firing.

There are reports of substantial damage at the Indian side.
