EU allocates $153m to Pak for COVID-19

ISLAMABAD: The ambassador of the European Union (EU) delegation to Pakistan, Androulla Kaminara, called on prime minister (PM) Imran Khan, Thursday, she highlighted that EU had allocated $153 million to support Pakistan fight off COVID-19 (coronavirus) infections countrywide.

According to an official statement, she briefed the PM on measures by EU to strengthen Pakistan’s response to COVID-19 pandemic.

PM Khan expressed satisfaction on the growing momentum in Pakistan-EU bilateral relations.

Further steps to deepen Pakistan-EU partnership in all its dimensions were discussed.
