ISLAMABAD:President Mamnoon Hussain while talking to joint chiefs of staff committee chairman general Zubair Mahmood Hayat on Thursday, expressed satisfaction over operational preparedness of the armed forces and said that Pakistan’s defence is in strong hands and the armed forces of Pakistan are fully prepared to counter any aggression; an official statement said.
According to detail, Hayat briefed Hussain on defence and security matters countrywide.
He apprised Hussain that the armed forces are fully alert for defence of the country and they know very well, how to protect our borders.
Matters relating to national defence university (NDU) were also discussed during the meeting.
