DPRK presents ‘prelude’ to North-South catastrophe
By KCNAThursday – June 18, 2020
According to Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Wednesday, as per a statement released by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK/North Korea), the North-South joint liaison office was completely destroyed with a loud explosion at 14:50 on Tuesday, the relevant field of our side put into practice the decisive measure of completely destroying the North-South joint liaison office in the Kaesong industrial zone, in reflection of the zeal of our enraged people to punish human scum who challenged the noblest dignity and prestige of our country and those who sheltered the scum, perpetrators of shuddering crime.
The latest punishment measure conducted in the wake of cutting off all the communication liaison lines between the North and the South is the first stage step of the primary action taken by us determined to surely force those, who hurt the dignity of our inviolable supreme leadership, and those, who have shown no sign of remorse or reflection, to pay for their crimes.
Closely following the attitude of the South Korean authorities, we will set the intensity for carrying out successive action measures against the enemy and the time for decisive actions in response to their subsequent demeanour and conduct.
Under such an acute situation as now, shameless and reckless attitude and response of the South Korean authorities will lead to our tougher retaliation plans.
Separately, in another statement by the DPRK, according to KCNA on Wednesday, the South Korean authorities staged the petty farce of asking us to accept special envoys on June 15.
Upset by the toughest retaliatory offensive against enemy taken by us, the south side sent a message to the effect that “president” Moon Jae In hopes for sending special envoys to the chairman of our state affairs commission, they are chief of the state security office Jong Ui Yong and director of the intelligence service So Hun, the visiting period will be the earliest possible date and it will respect the date to be named by our side.
Upon the urgent message sent by the South side in a hurry, Kim Yo Jong, first vice department director of the central committee of the workers’ party of Korea (WPK), made known the stand that we flatly reject the tactless and sinister proposal.
We take seriously the South side’s disrespectful attitude of wishing to send special envoys out of a lingering attachment even though they are well aware of the fact that unprecedented state emergency anti-epidemic measures are in force and no entry or exit are allowed from and to the territory of the DPRK.
We can guess how much the South side reacts to the present situation and what it’s anticipation of the consequences could be, but we are extremely displeased to get such an absurd judgment and reckless proposal.
The South Korean chief executive greatly favours sending special envoys for “tiding over crises” and raises preposterous proposals frequently, but he has to clearly understand that such a trick will no longer work on us.
The solution to the present crisis between the North and the South caused by the incompetence and irresponsibility of the South Korean authorities is impossible and it can be terminated only when proper price is paid.
Kim Yo Jong warned the South Korean authorities that they had better not try to give impression that they are trying something with the unrealistic proposal like the sending of special envoys, but take proper actions in return and calm down, strictly controlling words and acts of those fools who keep provoking us while adding fuel to fire without discernment of the worsening situation.
