Britain admires Pakistan army’s role in Afghan peace process

RAWALPINDI: The British high commissioner, to Pakistan, Christian Turner appreciated, Thursday, Pakistan army’s role in Afghanistan peace process and maintaining peace and stability in the region.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, British high commissioner, to Pakistan, Turner called on chief of army staff (COAS) general Qamar Javed Bajwa in the garrison city.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and overall regional security situation were discussed.

The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan army’s role in Afghan peace process and maintaining peace and stability in the region.
