A meeting reviews preparations for upcoming 14th SAG

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is all set to host the 14th South Asian Games (SAG) in 2021, a meeting on Thursday reviewed all important matters regarding the organisation of the upcoming 14th SAG, around 27 games are being planned to be held in the mega sports event which will provide a cornucopia of opportunities to the legion of sportsmen and sportswomen to prove their mettle.

According to a press release, the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) president Fehmida Mirza chaired the meeting with top officials of Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) at the interprovincial coordination (IPC) ministry, in the federal capital.

The occurring of the 14th SAG in Pakistan will go a long way in ameliorating Pakistan’s positive image globally.

The mega sports event will also shore up tourism industry and evince to the world that Pakistan is a peace loving country

The next meeting regarding the arrangements of the upcoming 14th SAG will be held with chief ministers in the coming days.
