11 suspects captured from Afghan refugee camps

RAWALPINDI: Balochistan frontier corps (FC) along with intelligence agencies conducted intelligence based operations (IBOs) in Surkhab on “Afghan refugees camp” in Kanak valley and Moro river / Bolan areas, whereat during the search operation 11 suspects were apprehended.

According to an inter services public relations (ISPR) statement, weapons and ammunition including explosives, mines, detonators and fuzes, mobile sims and communication equipment were recovered.

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi corps commander lieutenant general Nadeem Raza visited forward troops at the line of control (LoC). Commander Raza appreciated operational readiness and befitting response to the Indian ceasefire violations.

Separately, Peshawar corps commander lieutenant general Nazir Ahmed Butt visited Khyber agency as chief guest on reintegration ceremony of the fifth batch barra de-radicalisation centre.

Corps commander congratulated participants on completion of their program. 

He complimented the tribal brethren for their support to security forces in restoring peace.
